It’s the time of year where theatres across the world are investing time and brain-power in planning what their 2022/2023 season will be. This time in our calendar year has never been more important. 

Since the theatre industry’s last full-cycle planning session (2018/2019), there’s been a pandemic. There’s been seismic shifts in how we produce theatre. Who is included and how we treat those under our theatrical roof. In 2019 I’ll wager none of us knew what IDEA even is. (Still don’t? IDEA is Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility.
